India. RUGMARK
is a certification trademark, which assures importers
and buyers that carpets with this label have been manufactured/exported
by a company which has committed itself to work without
illegal child labour, and which is subject to an effective
surveillance mechanism.

Foundation, India was incorporated in September 1994
under Sec. 25 of the Indian Companies Act of 1956, as
a private, voluntary, non-profit entity.

Maurya
Carpet Industries was started about 30 years ago by Mr. M.L.Maurya
and his brothers, who are the driving force behind the company
for its forward, modern outlook and with a full commitment
to its buyers by providing them with most customer friendly
relationships while keeping quality and delivery commitments
at the top of company's working practices. Mr. Maurya started
his journey into the magical world of hand made Rugs by joining
the oldest carpet manufacturing company in the country about
35 years ago which was set up by the British during the old
Raj days. Mr. Maurya and his brothers joined this company
as a weaver. They use to make carpets for this company. During
this period Maurya family gained the rich experience and the
insight into the carpet weaving techniques.
Maurya Carpet Industries came into existence with an inherent
desire to do some thing substantial in the carpet world so
that brings fame to our country and help the weavers
of the state to uplift the levels of living.The present day
company is one of the largest hand made carpet manufacturing
company in the country. The company today has weaving force
over 3500 weavers and controlled by a supervisors and sub
level staff of 21 persons.

The
company has taken a modern shape by slowly building infrastructure
which has been put in place in three different factory units
such as In house dyeing unit, sample production unit, drying
chambers, finishing and packing departments. Using high-grade
Indian Wool, New Zealand wool, Argentina wool, Manchester
wool, natural silk and any other special blend or yarn (natural
or synthetic) as specified by the buyers.
Maurya Carpet has grown to a company of a stature for providing
complete carpeting solutions to its buyers by maintaining
high business standards and ethics. The company is also member
of various organizations like:
